Prevailing Wage is Required. Must be registered with the DIR. All bids shall be presented under sealed cover and shall be accompanied by cash, cashier's or certified check, or by a bidder's bond made payable to the City of Santa Rosa and executed as surety by a corporate surety authorized and admitted to transact a surety business in the State of California in an amount equal to ten percent of the amount of the bid. No bid shall be considered unless such cash, cashiers or certified check, or bidder's bond is enclosed with the bid. Any bidder's bond shall contain provisions for forfeiture consistent with California Public Contract Code section 20172 The successful bidder will NOT be required to furnish a performance bond or material guaranty bond for this project. In the event that the contract award exceeds $25,000.00, the successful bidder will be required to provide a performance, payment, warranty bond (see Bond Forms and Checklist Attachment A) within ten days after receipt of the Notice of Award in accordance with California Civil Code section 9550, executed in a sum of 100% of the Contract price. A BID GUARANTY/BOND IS REQUIRED. REFER TO SECTION 2-1.34 OF THESE SPECIAL PROVISIONS.
