The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Crop Genetics and Breeding Research facility located in Tifton, GA., has a requirement to remove and replace glass exterior panels and interior dividing walls with polycarbonate siding on 7 bays of the greenhouse, replace cooling cells in all bays. Remove cool cell water supply from wells and attach it to Bldg. 3 water supply, replace controls for (7) bays in the Greenhouse and the overhead vent motors. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment and perform all work in strict accordance with these Statement of Work/Specifications for the Greenhouse Remodel, Bldg. 3 Project, located at 109 Bermuda Dr., Tifton, GA. 31793. In accordance with FAR 36-204, the estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced contract, subject to the availability of funds. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions.
