Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Riverside, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Project will involve the following: Demolition and removal of asphalt, regrading of area, installation of subbase, asphalt paving, storm sewer, PCC sidewalk, site restoration and other related work. Bids security in the amount of five percent of the bid must accompany bid in accordance with the Information for Bidders. All interested parties are invited to attend. The following limitations shall apply to this Project: Approximate Start Date: June 14, 2022 Final Completion Date: August 19, 2022 Liquidated Damages: $200 per day . Products and materials incorporated in the Work of this Project are exempt from Iowa sales tax and local option sales tax. Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment bond will be required in the full amount of the contract. Bidders shall list on the Form of Proposal the names of persons, firms, companies, or other parties with whom the bidder intends to subcontract. This list shall include the type of work and ap- proximate subcontract amount(s). The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and also reserves the right to waive technicalities and irregularities.
