Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Riverside, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The bidder's security shall be in an amount equivalent to 5% of bid amount, and shall be in the form of a cashier's or certified check drawn on a bank in Iowa or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America, or a certified bank share draft drawn on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States of America or a bid bond with corporate surety satisfactory to the Owner. Bidders shall be prepared to submit a performance bond and payment bond and a five-year maintenance bond conditioned on the faithful performance of the contract. If the Contractor chooses to complete the work prior to the July 4th holiday, the work must be substantially complete by June 30, 2023. If the Contractor chooses to complete the work after the July 4th holiday, the work must be substantially complete by September 16, 2023.
