Intersection pavement removal and replacement with PCC at the intersections of; Main & Vine, Main & Prairie and pavement removal and replacement of Julian Street from Manor Road to Sheri Street. The Contract also includes the removal and replacement of two (2) sidewalk ramps at Vine Street and Main Street. The Contract also includes four (4) Alternates, which include #1: constructing Julian Street with HMA instead of PCC; #2: crack cleaning and sealing on streets of Grandview Drive, Willow Lane, and Franklin Street; #3= Reconstructing the City Hall parking lot and sidewalk with PCC; and #4: Reconstructing the City Hall parking lot with HMA instead of PCC Once the project has commenced, the project shall be completed by September 1 st , 2023 Each proposal must be accompanied with a bid security as defined in Iowa Code Section 26.8, as security that the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid upon and will furnish after the award of contract a corporate surety bond, in a form acceptable to the Jurisdiction, for the faithful performance of the contract, in an amount equal to 100% of the amount of the contract.
