Quote prices for blanket purchase order for ready mix concrete and portland cement for public works. Bid shall be carefully read and completed before opening date and time. bids not completed properly and/or received late will be deemed by public works to be non-responsive bids and will not be considered in award of this bid. The bidder must complete the price table electronically. All prices must be quoted in unit stated on the price table. All products quoted shall be as specified or approved equal. the bidder must state brand name and provide complete specificatons for bids of alternate brands. The bidder shall provide firm fixed prices for a period of three hundred sixty-five (365) days. Quantities used in the bid are estimated quantities and are for bidding purposes only. actual quantities may vary once project starts. bidders shall include material safety sheets for all specified and/or alternative products offered with their bid response. The city of cape girardeau shall award the bid to that bidder determined through the evaluation process to be the most responsive and best bidder. The bid shall be evaluated on ability to meet bid requirements, specifications, and cost of materials. A purchase order will be issued to the successful bidder prior to july 1, 2022, effective date. Tax exempt letter will be supplied to the successful bidder.
