The Town Board of the Town of Bloomer, Chippewa County, Wisconsin will be accepting road bids for the following 2 inch overlay on 80th St. approximately 1.5 miles Roads will be marked. Bids should include shouldering. The hot mix should be compressed asphalt with a depth of 2in and a width of the entire road. All mailboxes and driveways shall be winged out with asphalt. Quote price per ton, tonnage, and total cost. Chip Seal from St HWY 40 east on 220th ave to 222nd ave then on 222nd ave to County HWY AA. Chip Seal from 210th ave North on 100th st to 220th ave. Road will be marked. For the roads to be chip seal coated, cracks larger than 1/4-inch are to be filled, patch localized-problem areas, sweep before applying liquid asphalt, and sweep after rolling aggregate to remove excess aggregate. Road surface must be dry before application, no rain predicted during application or setting time, humidity must be less than 75%, must specify aggregate size and asphalt application rate in the bid.
