The County Department of Land Conservation & Forest Management is seeking bids for the construction of an open air shelter. Construction must conform to the Phase 1 sections of the architectural plans included in this bid packet. Project Location: Chippewa County Forest Hickory Ridge Shelter The project is located within the Chippewa County Forest in the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 15, T31N R8W, Town of Cleveland. The site address is 16864 225th Ave, Bloomer, WI 54724. Directions to Hickory Ridge Trailhead: From State Hwy 124 and 64 intersection, head west approximately 1 mile and exit North on County Highway AA, after 3.6 miles exit east on 226th Ave, then continue for approximately 3.6 miles. The parking area is on the north side of 225 th Ave. Anticipated Project Commencement: October 2, 2023 Project Completion: No later than December 1, 2023 Chippewa County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
