The Pascoe and Sharif labs at the University of Manitoba require equipment capable of performing spatial Ribonucleic Acid (RNA)-sequencing and protein quantification on fresh-frozen and Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human and murine tissues. The equipment will be used to assess RNA abundance by whole transcriptome RNA-sequencing and targeted arrays, and targeted proteomes from regions of interest in tissue sections in a non-destructive manner. The target installation date is September 2022. The budget for the project is $657,000 CAD. This budget includes tax, shipping, customs and duties fees, installation, and training, and the one (1) year service plan coverage.
