As of February 21, 2024, project was awarded to Mason Dixon Contractors, LLC, awarded amount is $353,239.61. The work of the base bid of this project consists of obtaining all materials and completing all related work to install new reinforced concrete storm water pipe and structures and install cured-in-place pipe lining The work of the alternate bids of this project consists of obtaining all materials and completing all related work to install a smooth-lined corrugated plastic pipe and backflow-preventing check valve within New Cumberland Borough, PA. The work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of existing concrete and asphalt pavement, erosion and sedimentation control, installation of reinforced concrete pipe, endwall, and riprap, trench and pavement restoration, and minor grading. The work also includes cured-in-place pipe lining. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check made payable to "New Cumberland Borough" in the amount of 10% of the total bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder shall provide a performance bond or certified check to the municipality in the amount of 100% of the contract within 15 days after the contract is awarded. The Owner hereby reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals submitted. The Owner also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in the proposals received. All bids shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after the bid opening date.
