Site work for a civil project in Altus, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The City of Altus, herein after called the "City," is seeking bids for excavation and culvert improvements to the Altus City Reservoir. The project includes excavation of 443,500 cubic yards of soil and replacing two existing culverts with new pipe, headwalls, and slide gates as designed. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to study all bids for thirty (30) days prior to bid award. The City reserves the right to award this bid in whole or in part as deemed in the best interest of the City. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours before the time set for opening of bids, or any bid received after the time set for the opening of bids, shall not be considered and shall be returned unopened. The City does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age or handicap status, in; employment decisions, the procurement of services, the selection of suppliers or awarding of bids and/or contracts. Award shall be based on a determination of the lowest qualified bid. "Qualified" is a determination by the City regarding the capability of the bidder to perform the work in good faith, with integrity and reliability as well as the materiality of the bidder's errors, omissions, or exceptions (if any).
