Renovation of a municipal facility in Altus, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City of Altus, herein after called the City,is seeking bids to furnish and install HVAC equipment as needed to replace 56 existing HVAC units in five commercial buildings within the City of Altus. The City has issued the following separate bid solicitations, one for each building. For Replace 2 Furnaces / Condensers and 3 Package Units Each will be awarded separately and each will have a separate contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to study all bids for thirty (30) days prior to bid award. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours before the time set for opening of bids, or any bid received after the time set for the opening of bids, shall not be considered and shall be returned unopened. The City does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age or handicap status, in; employment decisions, the procurement of services, the selection of suppliers or awarding of bids and/or contracts. Award shall be based on a determination of the lowest qualified bid. Qualified is a determination by the City regarding the capability of the bidder to perform the work in good faith, with integrity and reliability as well as the materiality of the bidders errors, omissions, or exceptions (if any). The Contractor shall commence the work required by the Contract Documents within ten (10) calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the same within one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days
