Division of Wildlife Resources. Approximately 743 acres in Cache County. Restricted to Utah Rangeland Pre-Qual Contractors only. The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to provide: for wildlife habitat improvement, watershed restoration and fuels reduction using a lop and scatter method to remove live and dead juniper. This includes the Contractor to furnish labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals for approximately 743 acres within the project area. Work under this contract is located on Forest Service administered lands in Cache County. The general location of the project is Temple Fork within Logan Canyon. Elevations range from 5900 to 6500 ft. The work location is identified on the project and site maps, Attachment C. Project Performance Time: 60 calendar days from official Notice-to-Proceed (NTP) A site visit will NOT be held prior to bidding. It is strongly recommended that each potential bidder inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
