The City of Redmond is seeking Statements of Qualification from experienced architectural and urban design consultants to partner with City staff in the development of design standards and illustrations for multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial development, as well as the possible addition of residential development, throughout Redmond. Scope includes assisting staff in updating existing and developing new design standards, providing involvement events for internal and external stakeholders, and illustrating final recommended standards. The Citys scope of work will include the following: I. Attend and Support Meetings with the Staff Team The Citys project manager will coordinate with the Consultant regarding staff team meetings and other comments and feedback from City officials, the community, and staff. As mentioned above, the Consultant will attend three meetings with the staff team, led by the Citys project manager. The Consultant will also attend a minimum of 12 regularly scheduled project coordination meetings with the Citys project manager throughout the duration of the project. II. Involvement The City will lead a series of involvement events where the Consultant will be requested to provide scribe, illustration, and technical services. A total of four involvement meetings will be provided. III. Meeting with City of Redmond Design Review Board The Citys project manager will lead the meeting with the City of Redmond Design Review Board (DRB). The Consultant, as mentioned above, will participate in this meeting to seek feedback from DRB members and discuss resolution of issues. IV. Data Provision The City will provide documents and supportive resources for the consultant to complete the deliverables described above.
