OCRRA's Rock Cut Road Transfer Station, located at 5808 Rock Cut Road in Jamesville NY, requires repair of concrete pavement sections that are approximately 1,078 square feet combined. The areas are located inside Building 1, in areas used for maintenance. Specifically, Bays 2 and 3 as shown on the attached drawing. Per historical engineering drawings (attached for reference), the section is an 8" thick concrete structural slab with a welded wire fabric atop 6" subbase. It is likely than an overlay has been placed on the original slab, or that other repairs to the slab have been made since the original installation. The site can be accessed for construction during the following time periods: Prior to June 13: after 3:30pm Monday-Friday; or Saturday; or Sunday*** On or after June 13: after 7pm Monday through Friday; or Saturday after 12pm; or Sunday** All inquiries and contacts during the procurement period shall be directed to the Designated Contact Person, Jack Connery, via email at jconnery@ocrra.org. The selected contractor shall pay its employees the prevailing wages for work, labor or services as required by New York Labor Law Articles 8 and 9. In accordance with the attached guide from the NYS Department of Labor, the selected contractor shall post the attached wage schedules at the site and provide OCRRA with a certified transcript of the original payrolls within thirty days after issuance of the first payroll and every thirty days thereafter as applicable. This work must be completed such that the floor is operational the for the next scheduled shift of maintenance workers. For example, concrete repair done on a Monday must be operational by Tuesday The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to pave certain areas of the site. OCRRA will only consider proposals for which the bidder demonstrates sufficient expertise and experience, as deemed necessary and appropriate by OCRRA, and submits cost-efficient estimates for executing those identified work activities. The contractor shall coordinate and plan with Designated Contact Person for access to the site to insure no conflicts with transfer station operations.
