Due to significant number of breaks that have impacted water service to the development , this project is proposed to replace the water lines throughout the neighbourhood.The existing lines are ductile iron pipe that are 40-50 years old and have experienced a significant amount of corossion.This project will install new 8-inch main along with minimal amounts of 6-inch for small streets and short dead-end lines and will then reconnect services for the residents. This project is in included in the City of Norman FY 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of May 28, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
