Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Scott Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Scott Township Board of Commissioners will receive sealed proposals for construction of the Bower Hill Road Signal Improvements. The scope of work generally includes a new traffic signal installation at Bower Hill Road & Vanadium Road, including ADA curb ramps; and various signal upgrades at Bower Hill Road & Rockhill Road and at Bower Hill Road & Painters Run Road. The bid will be for furnishing all labor, materials, supervision, and services associated with the Bower Hill Road Signal Improvements. Bids will have a tentative award date of June 28, 2022, at the Board of Commissioners regularly scheduled meeting. A Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid is required to be accompanied with the Bid. A non-collusion affidavit is required for this Bid. A Performance Bond, a Payment Bond, and a Maintenance Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the estimated contract price, shall be required from the Successful Bidder. Bids shall be submitted only on the enclosed Bid Form included in the Bidding Documents. While Bidders may make comments to clarify their Bid, Bidders cannot change, modify, delete, alter, amend or make additions to the wording to any of the Bidding Documents. Unauthorized conditions, exceptions, limitations, or provisions attached to a bid may be cause for rejection of the bid. Alterations by erasure or interlineation must be explained or noted in the bid over the signature of the Bidder. Any questions regarding the Bidding Documents shall be submitted as Requests for Interpretation and the Bidding Documents may only be modified by Addendum issued by the Local Project Sponsor prior to the Bid opening date. Questions can be submitted to Traffic Planning and Design until June 17, 2022 at Noon prevailing time. The Contract shall be subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the Common- wealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry. Award of the Contract, if the contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder based upon the base bid plus any combination or none of additive alternative bids for which Scott Township determines funds will be available. The Township reserves the right to reject any and or all bids on any basis and to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in the bidding, as permitted by law, and to accept any Bid which it may deem to be for or in the best interest of the Local Project Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion.
