Renovation of a swimming pool in Marietta, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
Scope: Existing frames shall remain in place unless otherwise noted. Frames to be prepped for new hardware. If the hardware template of the existing frames has to be changed, the existing frames shall be repaired such that visibility of old hardware locations (such as hinge locations) are not left visible after new frames and hardware are installed. Repair shall be either continuous hinge, frame insert, or Bondo patch and paint. Any exposed surface remaining after painting must be painted to match existing. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after date of bid opening, unless otherwise specified. Proposals must be accompanied by Bid Security in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount equal to 100% of the contract sum, will be required of the successful bidder The construction duration for the work in this contract is one hundred (100) calendar days. Failure to substantially complete the work within 100 calendar days plus any approved extensions shall result in liquidated damages in the amount of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) per calendar day. Final completion shall be reached within 30 days of substantial completion. Failure to reach final completion within that time period will result in liquidated damages of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per calendar day.
