Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Marietta, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Cobb County Department of Transportation is requesting non-cost technical proposals for Engineering Consulting Services. The project includes roadway and traffic operational improvements on Holly Springs Road beginning at Old Canton Road and ending at Sandy Springs Road. Improvements will include turn-lanes, raised medians, access revisions, sidewalks, signal upgrades, and drainage improvements. Proposers must meet the current prequalification requirements of the Georgia Department of Transportation. Proposers are required to be in compliance with the "Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act." Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation and Small Business Participation in all DOT contracts is encouraged. Cobb County will affirmatively comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d42 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, part 21 Nondiscrimination Act(s). The project must conform to all American with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. The Cobb County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject all Bids and waive any formalities.
