MP22-487P Cleaning Services of Grease Traps and Mud Traps at Various TDSB Locations The Toronto District School Board invites bids for the purpose of acquiring a service to clean Grease Traps and Mud Traps. The cleaning services of grease traps and mud traps at various TDSB locations shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined below. In order to do this work your firm must be qualified and certified for the transportation of hazardous waste. Term: Successful Bidder(s) will be required to enter into a contract with firm pricing which will be effective for a One (1) year period; prices maybe negotiated six months intervals. The Board reserves the right, at the sole discretion of the Board, to exercise an option to extend for Four (4) additional One (1) year periods at pricing agreed to by both parties. The successful Bid(s) will require approval by the Board of Trustees prior to contract award. The terms and conditions of the extension option would remain the same as for the initial contract period. The desired vendors will have service location/s in the geographic areas covered by the learning centres 1, 2, 3 4. The boundaries for the East would be Port Union Road to Bathurst Street and Lakeshore Blvd. to Steeles Avenue and the boundaries for the West would be Hwy 427 to Bayview Avenue from Lakeshore Blvd to Steeles Avenue. In order to determine the extent to which a Proposal reflects the requirements, submissions shall be rated using the following criteria as a general guideline. Proposal Evaluation Criteria The proposals will be scored in accordance with the criteria listed below. Price (50) points Company History and Experience (10) points Past Performance with the TDSB and other School Boards ( 5) points Service and Support Capabilities (Work Plan) (20) points Fleet Size (10) points Early Payment Discount/Prompt Payment Discount (5) points Total Points 100 points EVALUATION MATRIX: Excellent: 15-20 Exceeds the required standard. Response answers the question with precision and relevance and includes improvement through innovation/value added. Good: 10-14 Meets the standard required. Comprehensive response in terms of detail and relevance to the question. Limited: 5-9 Fails the standard in most aspects but meets some areas in level of detail. Generally inadequate and only partially addresses the question. Inadequate: 0-4 Significantly fails to meet the standard. question not answered or answer is not relevant to the question.
