Dirt and Gravel grant project: 2,950 feet of existing road base graded to a 4-6% crown. Placement of 2,043 Tons of Driving Surface Aggregate (DSA) with paver and compacted to 6" depth using 10-ton vibratory roller. DSA material will be provided by the Township and delivered to the jobsite. Prevailing wage applies. All work must be completed by August 31, 2022. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $870.00 per calendar day. Contractor must provide the Township with a 30 day notice before beginning construction. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. A 10% bid bond is required with submission of documents. A 10% performance bond will be required within 20 days from the winning bidder. The municipality reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
