Site work and paving for a civil project in Des Moines, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

This project includes design and construction of improvements identified in the Easton Boulevard Corridor Study and through public input gathered through that study process. Improvements made along the corridor in 2020 include construction of a median to limit turns at University Avenue, conversion to a three lane roadway from Hubbell to E. 29th Street and construction of a pedestrian refuge island near Eastown Park. Easton was also resurfaced from Hubbell Avenue to E. 33rd Street. Drainage improvements were constructed at E. 27th Court and Easton. Proposed improvements for this corridor include pavement reconstruction and storm sewer system construction from E 34th Street to the bridge over Four Mile Creek. The project will also provide a trail connection from E. 33rd Street to the Gay Lea Wilson Trail. This project is included in the city’s fy 2024-2027 Capital Improvement Program.
