Renovation of a municipal facility in Benton, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Project has been awarded to Servestart for $ 188,674 Polk County is now accepting qualified contractor sealed bids for replacement of the boiler / hot water system located at the Polk County Justice Center. There are currently two (2) existing nine hundred (900) gallon 1,200,000 BTU boilers in place. These units are to be replaced with an equivalent tankless hot water system. Job will consist of removing the existing units and installing tankless water heaters. Contractor will be responsible for supplying all labor, materials and equipment associated with project. Contractor will be responsible for the removal and disposal of the old system components. Please provide the quantity, make, and models numbers along with specs of the tankless system you are quoting. Price must include tie in to and reconfiguration of the existing venting system, gas lines, and waterlines to adapt to and otherwise facilitate the new system install. A detailed project timeline will be required. Bids must include TN state license number, W-9 / EIN #, a copy of workers compensation and liability insurance. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to obtain any required state permits associated with the project. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to also complete any backflow testing required in association with the project. Polk County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
