Polk County Government is accepting sealed Bids for a work on the Ducktown Swimming Pool. The Polk County Government (PCG) is looking for a solution to returning the Ducktown Pool to a safe and affordable operating condition. PCG is seeking someone to submit a design/build scenario which would include developing a plan, calculating the cost, including material and labor, and implementing the said plan in a turnkey fashion within given period of time. The County reserves the right to accept and or reject any or all bids or bidders, in part or whole based on the County's evaluation of what is in the best interest of the County. Polk County will not discriminate against any individual for any reason and will provide services to all citizens in a nondiscriminatory fashion. It is the intent of the county to fully comply with the provision of Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The county is committed to a moral, ethical, and legal responsibility to ensure equitable employment practices and the delivery of services regardless of an individuals race, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, gender or political affiliation.
