Accepting sealed bids for work on Parking Lot work to be done at the Election Commission Office in Benton, TN. The physical address is 6050 Hwy 411, Benton, TN 37307. Bids will be accepted on Dirt Work (separately), Concrete or Paving (separately), or Dirt Work and Concrete or Paving Work combined. Sealed Bids will be accepted for Dirt Work for 2 Pads with a 16 wide connection between them. 1st Pad First pad will be in front of the Election Office and will be 40x100. Dirt needs to be cut down to where a 4 gravel base is level at the bottom of the existing sidewalk. Pad needs to be set so when concrete or pavement is poured it is a smooth transition onto Polk St. 2nd Pad Second pad will be between the Election Office and the Ag Extension Office and will be 40x50. From the North side of the building, dirt will need to be cut down to where a 4 gravel base is level at the bottom of the existing sidewalk. Pad needs to be set so when concrete or pavement is poured, it is a smooth transition onto the Fire Hall entrance rd. The connection between the 2 pads will need to be 16 foot wide, approximately 35ft long and connect both pads for cars to be able to exit. Will also need a 4 base of gravel. All dirt will need to be hauled off from site. 2.Sealed Bids will be accepted for Concrete or Paving Work with a 16 wide connection between them. Concrete Option - Concrete is to be formed & poured for both pads & the connection between each pad. Concrete is to be 4 thick & the amount of concrete is approximately 90 yards total. The concrete needs to have a broom finish. Pavement Option Pavement is to be spread and packed & form a 4 base of asphalt on the prepared area, area pads are 40x100, 40x50 and 35x16 connecting area.
