This project is located along the West Virginia Turnpike at I-77 Milepost 29.8. It consists of fully replacing the southbound bridge deck over Oak Creek Road, County Route 19/25 with precast deck panels and barriers utilizing accelerated bridge construction. All work under this contract shall be completed by May 19th, 2023. Prospective bidders must be prequalified in accordance with SECTION 102.1 of the WVDOH Standard Specifications. Proposals must be made via website in the manner designated in the specifications, and must be accompanied by a Cashier's or Certified Check or Bid Bond in Favor of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, for an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Amount of the Proposal or $2,000 Whichever Is the Greater, and must be delivered to the office of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, Administration Building, 3310 Piedmont Road, Charleston, West Virginia 25306 on or before the day and hour named. Bid bonds may instead be submitted electronically via website. Any Bid That Is Not Accompanied by a Bid Bond Delivered Electronically via website or a Cashier's Check, a Certified Check, or a Bid Bond Delivered at the Place Designated Above on or Before the Day and Hour Named Will Be Considered Irregular. All bids submitted by bidders who have been debarred or declared ineligible by the Director of the Purchasing Division shall be rejected.
