ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS SCRANTON AVENUE UNDERPASS STEEL RAILING REPAIRS PROJECT THE VILLAGE OF LAKE BLUFF PROJECT: SCRANTON AVENUE UNDERPASS STEEL RAILING REPAIRS This project consists of the repairs to the existing steel railing at the West Scranton Avenue underpass beneath the Union Pacific Railroad tracks and Sheridan Road. The existing railing is made of three-inch diameter steel tubing. The work includes the replacement of approximately 40 lineal feet of railing as well as replacing connection plates between the steel railing and concrete barrier below and installing steel sleeves where the splices between sections of tubing have failed. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Village reserves the right to defer, postpone, delay, or reschedule the Bid Opening for such time and to such date as the Village, in its sole discretion, determines is in the best interest of the Village. RIGHTS RESERVED: The Village reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informalities or technicalities in bidding, and to accept the Bid which best serves the interests of the Village. The Village shall, in its sole discretion, determine what does or does not constitute an informality or technicality, and, in submitting a Bid, the Bidder agrees to be bound by that determination.
