Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Lake Bluff, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The work includes removing the existing pedestrian bridge and preparing the site for the installation of a new bridge. The project consists of removing the existing steel bridge, tree removal, sheet pile wall installation, construction of new concrete bridge abutments on helical ground anchors, and miscellaneous site work. The project is located just north of the intersection of Glen Avenue and Sylvan Road in the Village of Lake Bluff. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities or technicalities in any proposal, and to accept the proposal which it deems to be in the best interests of the Village.
