The base bid includes 1.5" pavement planing and resurfacing of sections of nine (9) City streets. Incidental repairs such as adjustment to grade of utility structures, full depth pavement repair, and detector loop installation are included within the scope of the project. The project is partially funded through the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC). All requirements of OPWC must be met by the Contractor. An alternate bid includes the 1.5" pavement planing and resurfacing of sections of two (2) City streets. The alternate may be awarded at the City's discretion based upon the availability of local funds. The Engineers Estimate of Probable Cost for the base bid only is $343,563.00. The Engineers Estimate of Probable Cost for the base bid only is $452,860.00. No pre-bid meeting will be conducted. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. Bids for the above-described work must be submitted on blanks furnished with the Bid Submittal Document. Said bids must be submitted as one original and one copy. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders / General Conditions. Bidders shall comply with all statutory requirements in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders / General Conditions.
