Orange County, Florida, henceforth referred to as the County is accepting sealed responses for Pine Hills Pedestrian Safety Improvements Phase 1 (Y22-7014) The Utility work shown on the drawings prepared by CPH, Inc. include the removal of segments of the County's sanitary sewer mains along Pine Hills Road - Segment 1 Project. This includes the removal of approximately 490 lineal feet of 8-inch AC force main and removal and replacement of one (1) manhole. This work was designed and intended to be constructed during the roadway pedestrian safety improvement project, and with full coordination of construction time, phasing, trenching, temporary facilities, and traffic control between any and all activities of the roadway project. The goals for work force employment levels are 18% minority and 6% women The proposed project includes the construction of raised median throughout Pine Hills Road from Figwood Lane to Belco Drive. This involves pedestrian safety improvements throughout, including constructing a 10' sidewalk along the east side of the road from S.R. 438 (Silver Star Road) to Belco Drive and upgrading curb ramps and driveways to meet American with Disability Acts Standards. The project also includes mast arm signalization upgrades and installing a gateway feature at the intersection of Pine Hills Road and Silver Star Road. The project length is approximately 1,865 linear feet (0.353 miles). The construction of the proposed utility improvements will include the removal of 490 linear feet of force main.
