Jefferson County Project : 3-70-24-3964 CDOT Project no: 22277/SHE C110-044 The County of Jefferson, Colorado, by and through its Purchasing Manager, is accepting bids for the construction of traffic signal replacement, flatwork and asphalt overlay at W 44TH Avenue & McIntyre Street in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in these bid documents. Jefferson County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 US.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The DBE goal for this project is 12% and the On-the-Job-Training (OJT) goal
is zero hours. Prior to submitting a Bid Proposal for this project, the Bidder shall have received prequalification status (active status) with the Colorado Department of Transportation to bid on individual projects of this size and kind of work as set forth in these documents.
An EEO-1 Report must be submitted to the Joint Reporting Committee if the contractor and subcontractors meet the eligibility requirements (29CFR1602.7).
