The City of Newark is seeking Statements of Qualifications from interested firms capable of designing and implementing the conversion of City-owned and operated streetlights from high pressure sodium type luminaires to light emitting diode luminaires. The City intends to select one vendor to provide the development and implementation. The upgrade to LED lighting will provide the City with better quality lighting, reduced operational and maintenance costs and significant annual electricity savings. Electronic Statements of Qualification must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
