Renovation of a mixed-use development in Aurora, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 31,218-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.
The Contractor shall pay, if applicable, not less than the prevailing rate of wages as established, to all laborers, workmen and mechanics in the performance of Work under this Contract in accordance with "An Act regulating wages of laborers, mechanics and other employed under contracts of Public Works." 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bidding, or accept the bid that, in his opinion, will serve his best interests. Substantial completion date for demolition is July 29, 2022 New 2 story building including 1 story storm shelter to hold after-school programs for the East Aurora School District. The intent of this project is to construct a new 30,000 sf, 2 story after school program building for the East Aurora School District. The structure is slab on grab on the first floor with a storm shelter in the eastern one-story portion of the structure.
