The City of Platte City invites responses from professional services consultants to Request for Qualifications for the selection of a consultant to perform a water and wastewater rate study. The intent of the study is to evaluate the City's water and wastewater revenue stream; to provide an opinion of the capacity to fund utility operations, debt and planned capital improvements over the next ten years; to provide recommendations to address any revenue shortfalls using the current rate/fee structure and to provide recommendations for revenue neutral alternative rate/fee structures.
