City of Platte City is seeking Request for Proposals for vendors to provide and install a 60 to 100 foot zipline and fall surface at Rising Star Park. The project consists of proposing, furnishing, delivering, and installing a 60 to 100 foot zipline with fall surface for Rising Star Park, 1009 Second Street. Project concepts and design elements approved by Parks Committee as proposal starting points are: Project Funding: $100,000 60-100 foot zipline Rubberized play surface with 4" compacted stone base One foot wide concrete band where not already bordered by walkway Zipline to include: 60-100 foot single zipline Small launch platform Traditional button/disc seat Completion date of November 11, 2022. Missouri Prevailing Wage Order Number 28 for Platte County is in effect for any contract in excess of $75,000.
