As of September 29, 2025, design firm identified. The City of Platte City, Missouri is requesting qualifications for engineering services to address the Platte City Wastewater Treatment Plant Rehabilitation, System Enhancement and Capacity Expansion Project. The engineering services required may include geotechnical evaluation, planning, design, development of plans, specifications and project documents, project management, submittal review, on site construction inspection and/or other construction oversight of the project. Facility plans and engineering reports should adhere to 10 CSR 20-8.110 Engineering - Reports, Plans, and Specifications. Funding for the project is through the Missouri Department of Natural Resources' Financial Assistance Center. Qualification information provided to the City shall include A. The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to the type of services required. B. The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within the time limitations fixed for the completion of the project. C. The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules. D. The firm's proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located; and E. The firm's professional experience in designing wastewater systems. The City will take all necessary steps to invite disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs) to participate in this project, including solicitation of any services subbed out under the agreement, in accordance with the Clean Water State Revolving Fund Program rules and as required by the award conditions of U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Assistance Agreement with Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
