The scope of work consists of pruning and or removal of trees at various locations on the Island of Oahu. This project is on an indefinite quantity "as-needed" basis during the 12 month period of the contract, all in accordance with the requirements of these Specifications. The Contractor shall also be able to respond to emergency service work which requires a response time of two (2) hours after receiving verbal notification from the Engineer or his representative. To be eligible for award, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii Specialty Contractor's C-27B, Tree Trimming and Removal, and "C-27", Landscaping Contractor's license at the time of bidding. Bidder attention is also directed to Section 10.2 of the Specifications regarding additional bidders qualification. ALL requests for information (RFI) shall be received in writing via HIePRO prior to the Question Due Date in General Information of the HIePRO solicitation. Questions received after the deadline will not be addressed. Verbal will not receive a response. The Equal Employment Opportunity Regulations of the Secretary of Labor implementing Executive Order 11246, as amended, shall be complied with on this project. The U.S. Department of Transportation Regulation entitled "Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the U.S. Department of Transportation," Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 21 is applicable to this project.
