The Jamestown Project, Phase # 1 Consists of Safeguarding Thirty Seven (37) Mine Features Including Seventeen (17) Vertical Openings and Twenty (20) Horizontal Openings. The Project Will Occur on Land Managed by the United States Forest Service (Usfs), Boulder County Parks and Open Space, and Privately-owned Land in Boulder County. The Hazardous Mine Openings Will Be Closed Using Various Methods Which Include Backfilling, Polyurethane Foam Plugs, Monolithic Plugs, Bulkhead Seals and Grates. Driving directions to the Jamestown Park (pre-bid meeting location): 1. From Downtown Boulder via Olde Stage Rd 2. Take Broadway North to Lee Hill Drive Turn left onto Lee Hill Dr 3. Continue straight onto Olde Stage Rd 3.1 mi 4. Turn left onto Lefthand Canyon Dr 2.7 mi 5. Continue onto James Canyon Dr 2.9 mi 6. Continue onto Mill St 233 ft 7. Merge onto Main St in Jamestown 8. Turn left into Jamestown Park directly across from the Jamestown Mercantile at 108 Main Street.
