Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 69,096-square-foot military facility.
Design/Build - The Flight Line Support Facility (FLSF) will serve as the new logistical center for the assembly and maintenance of Readiness Spare Packages (RSP's) and the logistical center for supporting and stocking avionics, spare parts, components, and other required supplies in support of the maintenance of approximately 40 C-17 Globemaster III aircraft. The new FLSF will include administrative and warehouse areas with reinforced concrete foundations and floor slabs and standing seam sloped metal roofs. The administrative area will have brick veneer exterior and the warehouse will have CMU to 4' minimum height per UFC 4-440-01 and insulated metal panels over the CMU to the soffit. The project includes the demolition of Buildings 78, 79, and 80 with a total area of 61,990 SF. The project includes Third Party Certification for sustainability and commissioning. Addendum #1-#7 have been issued as of 6-14-2022.
