*As of August 22, 2022, a contractor has been awarded. Construction is scheduled to begin in late August 2022 and end in early October 2022. This project generally includes the demolition of existing bituminous asphalt for a portion of the air cargo apron and the installation of a new concrete hard stand. Additionally, some crack sealing of the existing apron is included. Bidders are advised that this contract will require the contractor and subcontractors to pay prevailing wage rates as a minimum in accordance with the current State Wage Rate Schedules. Bidders shall be advised that this contract requires participation by certified disadvantaged businesses as follows: M/WBE Goal: 30%; SDVOB Goal: 6%. The Owner reserves the right to reject a bidder's proposal if the submitted proposal is from a person, partnership, firm, or corporation that is not on the plan holders list.
