Site work and paving for a road / highway in Valparaiso, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The contract includes thirteen HMA Inlay projects A-M in various locations throughout Porter County. HMA Inlay projects will be milled 0.5-2.5 inches deep. Wedge and level will be placed to improve the roadway cross section and weak locations. Tack coat will be applied. 165.0 lbs/SY and 220.0 lbs/SY (project specific) hot mix asphalt pavement, QC/QA-HMA, 2, 64, Surface, 9.5 mm shall be placed. Surface joint adhesive and liquid asphalt sealant shall be applied. Thermoplastic pavement markings shall be placed per the INMUTCD requirements. See the bidding documents for project details.
