A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Work consists of the installation of approximately 185 linear feet of new 8-inch sewer, 153 linear feet of new 10-inch sewer, 442 linear feet of new 12-inch sewer, 45 linear feet of new 15-inch sewer, 75 linear feet of new 24-inch sewer and 7,220 linear feet of new 60-inch sewer and the abandonment of approximately 4,300 linear feet of existing 42-inch sewer. Also included in this project is the installation of 31 new 48-inch, 84-inch, 96-inch, 108-inch and 120-inch manholes totaling approximately 625 vertical feet. It also includes three tunnel operations totaling approximately 3,600 linear feet, and the provision of all associated bypass pumping, pavement restoration, erosion control, traffic control, and appurtenances throughout the Horsepen Branch Trunk Sewer project area. The project limits are from the intersection of Horsepen Road and West Broad Street along Horsepen Branch to the Interstate 64 and Staples Mill Road interchange. The project is included in the Henrico County's FY 2025-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of September 29, 2025, project is funded for construction in FY2026. A bid notice has been issued, and bids are due November 6, 2025. Engineers/design team has been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
