The Virginia Port Authority (VPA) is seeking proposals for Professional Engineering Services for the North Norfolk International Terminal Wharf Improvements project. The term of the Contract shall be for two years with the option to renew for up to three (3) additional one (1) year periods at the sole option of the Virginia Port Authority and in accordance with the terms noted in the Contract. Proposals and all other correspondence, including questions, shall be sent electronically to proposals@portofvirginia.com. All email communications shall contain "RFP 2022-42-VPA" in the subject line followed by the Respondent's name. Questions may only be submitted electronically no later than 2:00 p.m. EST June 13, 2022. I. Purpose of the RFP The purpose and intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain one contract for Professional Engineering Services for the North Norfolk International Terminal (NNIT) Wharf Improvements project. II. Statement of Needs The Virginia Port Authority (VPA) is seeking a qualified professional engineering firm to provide comprehensive multi-discipline engineering services that may include investigation, analysis, design, cost estimating, drawing and specification preparation, bid and award services, services during construction, project closeout and all other related services necessary to complete the Project. The Offer or selected shall provide professional engineering services in accordance with Exhibit C, Scope of Work.
