Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Project involves conversion of a wet well/dry well lift station to a submersible style lift station. Work includes concrete, excavation, sewer connections and a prefabricated building complete with a standby generator, pump controls, and electrical equipment. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of City of Cedarburg and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The City of Cedarburg reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to City of Cedarburg at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to City of Cedarburg equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to City of Cedarburg as liquidated damages.
