Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Mill 1.5" of pavement off of four existing alleys (map attached) within the City of Grosse Pointe Park. Any debris or vegetation within the alley shall be removed prior to placement of HMA. Milled pavement shall be swept clean of any debris and a SS-1h emulsion coating shall be placed on the milled pavement prior to paving to promote adhesion of new pavement to old. A 1.50" lift of 5E1 wearing course shall be placed upon the emulsion-coated pavement. A price for full depth asphalt repair (ton), structure adjustments (ea) and replacing manhole covers with EJ 1040A solid covers shall also be included in the project for as needed work. Once paving is completed, the contractor shall sweep clean the new pavement. All work shall be in accordance with the 2020 MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction.
