Reference Number 0000323276 Municipal Parking Lot Rehabilitation/Reconstruction: A mix of pavement rehabilitation methods have been proposed to improve the existing municipal lot. A portion of the lot is recommended to be fully reconstructed including the aggregate base using 8-inches of aggregate base and 4-inches of asphalt. A larger portion of the parking lot is recommended to be milled and overlayed with 2-inches of asphalt with spot full depth base replacement, where necessary. Alley Paving: The proposed fixes for the alleyways included milling 1.5-3.0 inches of pavement and replacing with MDOT 13A/36A HMA. Failed concrete pavement beneath will be removed and replaced with HMA or concrete where necessary. The work also includes replacement of sanitary sewer manhole covers to reduce stormwater inflow. HMA Parking Lot Construction: Construction of an HMA parking lot with concrete curb and gutter with approaches Maryland Street and the adjacent alley. Also included in the project is associated storm sewer and structures that crosses Maryland to connect to an existing structure.
