Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Willcox, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of October 2, 2024, this project has been completed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The project will include the design and construction of chip sealing and ADA Compliant Sidewalk on Scott Street from curb to curb from Arizona Avenue to the dead end. The project also consists of the construction of approximately 2,000 linear feet of sidewalks along Scott Street which will comply with ADA standards. The total square footage of pavement is approximately 8,000 sf. In addition, drainage crossings will be constructed with concrete product and compliant with MAG standards. Each drainage crossing is approximately 50 ft. x 5 ft. x 6". In accordance with the City of Willcox's procurement regulations and Federal Grant requirements, the City is soliciting professional engineers to provide design and construction management for Scott Street and Sidewalk Improvements. The City of Willcox has been awarded a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) through the State of Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for this work. The ENGINEER shall provide all of the materials and services required by this Contract in accordance with recognized professional standards, and in a competent and acceptable form and manner including: Provide all professional and basic services necessary to prepare all preliminary and final design plans, specifications, cost estimates and bid documents, including but not limited to: design, all surveying as needed, and documentation of existing conditions as needed. Firm is to assure and provide all components required to fully design and construct this project, including any alternative recommendations, cost estimates, and construction coordination as needed to complete the project. Firm is to be in compliance with all local, county, state, and federal codes and requirements. All construction must comply with current ADA regulations and guidelines.
