Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Amanda, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and bridge / tunnel.
The West Main Street Culvert Replacement project generally includes the replacement of 48-inch conduit, a new headwall, pavement repair, sidewalk, and the installation of bike railing. Bidders are required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid Price or certified check, cashiers check or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the bid amount to guarantee the Bidders entrance into a contract, if awarded the project. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided within these Bid Documents. Each Bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, ancestry, or age. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project shall to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Fairfield County as determined by the State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Determinations. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. In the event that the Owner is unable to obtain an Agreement with the Bidder initially selected, the Owner may award the contract to the next bid, most favorable to the Owner. The right is reserved by the Owner to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the lowest and best bid. Bidders may obtain electronic bidding documents upon payment of $25.00 (non-refundable) in the form of cash or check payable to Verdantas LLC. Bid documents may also be obtained as hardcopy upon receipt of $100.00 plus $20.00 shipping fees at the office 1555 W. Main Street, Newark, Ohio 43055.
