Site work for a mixed-use development in Blasdell, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and playground / park / athletic field.
A wetland will be expanded and a culvert will be installed to redirect flow of water from Blasdell Creek, into the wetland, and out into Lake Erie. The wetland will be excavated by following the natural grade of the land. Restoration plantings will be installed post construction. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 10% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 10% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond in the amount of: $51,397.00 Project Specific Liquidated Damages (Refer to Article 14.10 of the General Conditions). $1,500.00 In accordance with State Finance Law, Section 139-j, the following agency staff have been designated as contacts for this contract: Carley McMullen 716-255-0568 Please note that contacting any other agency staff regarding this contract may be a violation of State Finance Law, Section 139-j, resulting in a determination of contractor non-responsibility. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond/Payment Bond in the statutory form of public bonds required by Sections 136 and 137 of the State Finance Law, each for 100% of the amount of the Contract.
