Request for Bid Proposals for the LMFD Fire Station 32 Site Improvements The Fire District is asking for bid proposals that are in compliance with this Scope of Project. The project proposal should include: 1. Remove and replace approximately 10,000 square feet of asphalt with proper compaction, underlayment, drainage improvements, and striping capable of withstanding daily use of passenger vehicles, fire apparatus, and other commercial vehicles up to 80,000 lbs. 2. Remove and replace approximately 2,500 square feet of concrete apparatus pads with proper compaction, reinforcement, underlayment, and drainage improvements capable of withstanding daily use of passenger vehicles, fire apparatus, and other commercial vehicles up to 80,000 lbs. 3. Foundation work and drainage improvements for storage area of several (2-4) full cargostyle sea containers to be stored on site, year-round, with 24/7 accessibility, per plans provided. 4. Installation of a replacement electrical generator capable of supplying back-up power to the fire station and grounds, along with any required modifications or upgrades to existing equipment and removal of existing equipment as needed. Fuel source for the generator may be via the District's existing on-site propane tank or diesel fuel tank and proposed tiein should be considered as part of the proposal. 5. Installation of area lighting for the site to provide adequate illumination for the parking lot, grounds, storage area, and supplied with power from the fire station and backup generator. 6.
